Zuzanna Czajkowska (born in 1991) – interdisciplinary artist, who lives and works in Berlin. A graduate of art history at the University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań (BA studies) and mediation of art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław (MA studies).
I have always been interested in art therapy. I like working with artists and audiences. I deal with the preformance. Currently in the form of a camera. My long-term performance project is called “Twerk for Art.” The concept is simple – I twerk at exhibitions in museums and art galleries. I professionally make metal sculptures. Patina is my specialty. I work in a foundry in Berlin, where I create expensive and exclusive art. I also use the remnants of this “great world of art” to make my sculptures. I am an advocate of recycling, even in art. That is why I often use objects found on the streets in Berlin in my installations, painting and drawing – usually in a very naive, expressive style. I combine words with symbols. My important painting and drawing series is about feminism. I use and transform the vagina in a symbolic way.
